Всё сделал! забыл расскомментировать библиотеки. (Извените за оффтоп)

вторые сутки мучаюсь... установил для Localhost связку Apache+PHP+MySQL - вроде запустил (версию ПХП через локалхост показало). А с phpMyAdmin:

1) Корень PHP должен быть прописан в PATH и находится перед путем к MySQL/bin.

2) В php.ini должны быть раскомментированы строки; библиотеки должны существовать:
[mono]extension=php_mysql.dll[/mono]
[mono]extension=php_mysqli.dll[/mono]

3) В php.ini должен быть прописан каталог с библиотеками расширений.
[mono]extension_dir = "C:/php/ext"[/mono]

4) В корне PHP должна быть библиотека libmysql.dll.

5) Поищите в системе дубль библиотеки libmysql.dll. Если найдете ее в системном каталоге, вроде C:/Windows, то переименуйте и перезапустите компьютер.

6) В файле C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts проверьте наличие строки:
[mono]127.0.0.1    localhost[/mono]

Сенкс, но не взлетел smile
1.Было
2. Закомментированных строк не было - прописал в разделе MySQL
3. Было закомментировано - раскомментировал, изменив "C:/php/ext" на свой адресс ПХП (без моно)
4. Не было. Нашел в MySql/Bin - оттуда скопировал. Оттуда не удалил.
5. В других местах (вроде C:/Windows) нету.
6. Есть там такое.

Апач не запустился. Винда вывалила "Недопустимая ошибка. Отправить\не отправить отчет?"

Нельзя копировать из MySQL/bin, там другая клиентская библиотека совершенно. Вам надо найти полный дистрибутив PHP, который устанавливали и из него взять библиотеку libmysql.dll. Либо переустановите PHP по новой выбрав все необходимые библиотеки расширений.

Оказалось в папку инсталяции ПХП надо скопировать все файлы архива (дистрибутива) ПХПшного (там много длл_ок, которые при инсталяции автоматом не копируются). И читал об этом, но при переустановке забыл.

ваш php.ini обновите от сборки 5.3 они разные, и пропишите в Path

Не существует никакого режима совместимости PHP 5, который здесь описан. Поищите код в скрипте установки, который выводит строку "PHP 5 compatibility mode" и покажите его. Надо понять что там проверяется. И укажите вашу версию PHP.

Кажется там речь идет об этой строке. Отредактируйте php.ini включив эту директиву.

все просто если в FreeBSD
cd /usr/ports/lang/php5-extensions
make config
ставим галочку на MySQL
и
make reinstall
http://www.ussr.kiev.ua/ru/php5-extensions-curl
